In Charleston, South Carolina, last week, a man allegedly opened fire on a Bible study at AME Emanuel and killed nine people. The suspect, Dylann Roof, was found and taken into custody in North Carolina. His bail was set at $1 million on weapons charges. The judge said he did not have authority to base the bond on murder charges, according to NPR.
In 2010, Boosie, then known as Lil Boosie, was incarcerated on a first-degree murder charge and was denied bail.
