A man and a woman both appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning in connection with firearms offences.
Anthony Levon Swan, 21, was charged with a number of offences in connection with a shooting on Court Street last Wednesday.
Swan was charged with possessing a firearm, possessing three rounds of ammunition, discharging ammunition, possessing a firearm to endanger lives, discharging a firearm at Troy “Yankee” Rawlins and taking a cycle without the owner’s consent and driving it recklessly.
In a separate matter, Tiffany Eatherley, a 24-year-old mother of two, was charged with possessing a firearm and one round of ammunition between January 13 and December 16.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner ordered both Swan and Eatherley to be held in remand.
